guAdALAjArA, 1975. Pintor y escultor. Con más de veinticinco años de trayec- toria, ha realizado obra pictórica de caballete, dibujo, escultura en cerámi- ca, bronce y talla en madera. Su obra se caracteriza por el uso de empastes y texturas, de un expresionismo puro, que resultan en imágenes con una gran potencia y dinamismo visual. En- tre sus exposiciones individuales más sobresalientes están: El pájaro de los deseos, en el Museo de las Artes de la Universidad de Guadalajara; Hem- bras, proyecto en colaboración con Juan Carlos Macías que se exhibió en el Museo de las Artes; Plasma, en el Ex Convento del Carmen de Guadalajara; Instinto, en el Museo de Arte Contem-
(guAdALAjArA, 1975). Víctor Hugo Pérez is a painter and sculptor with over twenty-fi- ve years of experience in painting, drawing, ceramic and bronze sculpture, and wood carving. His work is characterized by the use of textures and of pure expressionism that results in images with powerful visual dynamism. Among his most outstanding individual exhibits are: El pájaro de los de- seos (The Bird of Desires) at the University of Guadalajara’s Museum of the Arts; Hem- bras (Females), a project in collaboration with Juan Carlos Macías that was exhibited at the Museum of the Arts; Plasma, at the Ex Convent of Carmen in Guadalajara; Instinto (Instinct), at the San Luis Potosí Museum of
